Sweetheart's first fishing trip

While we waited, and waited, and waited for Sweetheart to finally make her very late appearance back in September, Marquis and I went fishing a lot. It got us out of the house and helped us to pass the time while we waited. Today we went fishing for the first time since she was born. Looks like some of her pre-birth experiences soaked in, she's a natural!


Marquis caught the only fish. It was so cute, and not big enough for a good dinner, so it got to go free. We're pretty sure the kid next to us caught it, though, and he decided it was enough for dinner. Should have learned the first time, little fish!


Here's Sweetheart showing off her smokin' style, she was the best lookin' kid there.


Actually, she was just trying to pull the hat off. Wow, she hated that hat!
