Our Anniversary

Nine years ago today, I walked into the kitchen at Marquis's parent's house to see him reading the newspaper. He looked up and smiled and me, and said good morning. It was so funny to me that he would be so casual that day, but it was a different kind of smile. It was a smile that said, Wow, I can't believe we are getting married today. A few hours later I married my sweetheart, the best thing that I have ever done in my life. We've had our hard times and bumps in the road, but I think it's safe to say that those hard times and bumps have never been in our relationship with each other. Marquis, I love you so much more today than I did nine years ago, and I am the luckiest woman alive to have you in my life!
