I have been a blog slacker lately! I have been waiting until we get more pictures off our camera, but we've been so busy that this hasn't happened yet. As an update on us, we had a quiet week after CG went back for girl's camp, and then she came back on June 30th. We haven't been doing anything too exciting, mostly hanging out and playing games, but that is what we really like to do so it's been fun. It is so fun to see CG and Sweetheart together. Even though CG isn't here often, Sweetheart has never been wary of her like she is with other people she doesn't see every day. She just knows that this is her big sister and that she is very loved by CG. CG has a good time playing with her, dressing her, and just holding her. She even changed a poopy diaper this week! Now that's a good sister!
For July 4th, we went to my brother house and had a BBQ with them and a lot of my sister-in-law's family. We went to the church next door and set off a bunch of fireworks in the parking lot. We watched from a cozy spot on the grass until the sprinklers came on and gave us a bit of a shower. It was actually quite refreshing, because it is so super hot here! The next day was wonderful because my cute niece was baptized. She looked beautiful and happy, and we are so proud of her!
I will post some new pictures soon. We also had new family pictures taken on Friday that turned out pretty cute, I will post them as soon as we get them back. I realized that this is the first time that Sweetheart has had professional photos done. How weird is that? Anyway, more pictures are coming soon!
