Ok, I'll quit leaving you in suspense - official first word announcment

There could be some disagreement about what her first word actually is. When she was only a few months old, she said "Boob" quite clearly and distinctly. But since we think she was more just accidentally making noises than actually asking for food, we're not going to count that one. The first sound that she ever made on purpose was when she would growl at her daddy, but that isn't actually a word, just a noise. For weeks I swear she has been saying what sounds like "Hi Dad!" but I could never be sure. But she has now said a word that was 100% on purpose, and she knows what it means.

Every morning after I get Sweetheart out of bed, we walk down the stairs and look at the pictures on the wall. I tell her the names of all the people, but most of the pictures are of just one person. So one morning I was pointing and saying "CG" and she started saying "CG" right after me. The first time I thought it was a fluke, but then she said it for each of the other pictures, and then the rest of the day she would just randomly say it, and look around like she was looking for her sister. And now the stinker won't say it on camera for CG to see for herself! Oh, well. I thought that was the best first word ever. CG, it looks like she misses you just as much as the rest of us!
