Sniffing Carrots

Sweetheart is already very interested in cooking, and likes to "help" whenever she can. Because it's too difficult to make dinner while a toddler is holding your leg and saying, "Up! Up!" I have started pulling a chair over to the counter so she can stand and watch. I was chopping some veggies for soup the other day when I heard her say, "Mmm, carrots, smell nummy!" And I looked over to see this:

This kid is hilarious!!

(Marquis has made me promise that I would only post this picture if it was accompanied by the disclaimer that we did not and will not use this carrot. As soon as she was done smelling it, it went in the trash, so if you come to dinner at our house you will not be fed snotty carrots. Ever.)
