The Zoo

For another outing on a Monday, I talked Marquis's parents into using their grandparent's membership at the zoo to take us there. We had a great day! One of the first things we saw were the elephants, with the cute new baby elephant.

She got lots of good love from Grammy and Poppa that day, so nice!

Poppa did make her a little nervous when he put her up on his shoulders, she gets nervous when Marquis does this, too. Being the mean mom that I am, I made him keep her up there long enough for a picture, though!

She especially seemed to love looking at the critters in the small animal house, you could get so close to them!


Super fun day! It wore me out so much that I fell asleep on the couch as soon as Marquis got home from work, I must have needed the exercise!
