The 4th of July - finally!

I realize this was over a month ago, but we had a great time on the 4th of July. Because it was on a Sunday this year, the celebrations seemed to go on all weekend. We spent the evening of July 3rd at my brother's house setting off fireworks and eating yummy food. Somehow I only got two pictures that night, and they are both so terrible I'm not going to share them. The next day we went to hang out w/Marquis's parents. It was the perfect day for playing outside on the lawn eating freezes.

Sweetheart is very serious about her ice cream, and wouldn't look up for a picture. CG looks gorgeous, though, doesn't she?

I say this all the time, but I just love watching those two play together! They just love being together.

Sweetheart has been so harassed by her father that she has become immune to his teasing. He can bounce a ball off of her head, and she won't even react, which I think is the perfect response.

This next picture is a repeat, but I just found it so perfect, the flag in the background, the look on her face, so cute!

Marquis and CG really don't like having their picture taken, but they humored me for this one.

I have a video of Sweetheart being so cute, but it wouldn't load. She was fascinated by her shadow, and they walked around on the lawn for a long time together. It was so cute how fascinated she was with it!
