Poor Sweetheart was looking quite scraggly, her hair was long, but in need of a little love, so today we went to Cookie Cutters. I love that place! Doesn't she look gorgeous?
I love that place because there is a slide to play on to entertain the kids until it's their turn. They also have video games, but Sweetheart's turn came well before she was sick of the slide, so she never even saw them, and I'm not sure she'd know what to do with them if she had.
The kids get to sit in toy cars while they get their hair cut, and they get to choose which one. They also get to watch a movie while their hair is cut, which I think is genius because they hold their heads more still that way.
When she was done they gave her a balloon that had a cookie cutter and a sucker tied on to the end. Sweetheart thought that watching them blow up the balloon was the most amazing thing she had ever seen, I wish we had a picture of her face when they did that!
This balloon has already provided hours of fun. And the haircut was only $2 more than taking her to a regular place. This whole blog post sounds like an ad for Cookie Cutters, doesn't it? But she had a great time! What a fun outing!
