Birthday Overload

Sweetheart is a very lucky kid. Somehow she ended up with a three day birthday extravaganza, instead of just one day of birthday fun. It all started with a brunch at Grammy and Poppa's house, with waffles and lots of presents. Included in those presents was one of Sweetheart's new favorite things:

This is the cutest dress ever on her, and she is such a girly girl that she just loves it.

The next day we partied with my parents and siblings and their families at my sister's new cute house. We all played outside on their cool patio, had a yummy dinner, and Sweetheart opened lots of presents.

My sister has a trampoline that was a huge hit. When Sweetheart wasn't eating or opening presents, she was on and off of the trampoline.

It's impossible to find a store-bought cake that isn't made with eggs, so I have to fake it with my egg-free cake recipes. I'm afraid this is the best it gets:

Haha, awesome! But every little girl needs cake on her birthday, even those allergic to eggs.

Her actual birthday landed on a Tuesday, so the only people Sweetheart saw were her boring old parents, and her sweet but still rather boring baby sister. We saved our presents for her for that day so that she would have something to open on her actual birthday.

Yes, we are the kind of awesome parents that give things like socks for birthdays. In our defense, check out her face! Yeah, loved them!

I love her little faces!

Then she blew out some candles on a piece of cake that was left over from the celebration at my sis's house (I made two kinds, but only took a picture of one).

She is still talking about her birthday, she had a great time!
