Going back in time

Today I went through and pulled all the pictures off of our camera and both cell phones, and boy are there a lot that I want to share that I have missed previously! Because of that, for the next few posts I am going to go back in time a bit. This will be random and all over the place, be ready for anything!

First, this picture is a repeat, but I wanted to explain it and why I love it. See the lady with the crazy bandanna?

That is my doctor. Having as many fertility problems as we did, I went to a lot of different doctors, and all of them were ok if you were just going to see them every once in awhile, but if you were going to see them as often as you would if you were trying to conceive or pregnant, they each had their own things that really bugged me. A lot. My current doctor was not my doctor when Sweetheart was born, but she is the one that ended up doing the c-section anyway because my doctor had gone home. I loved her so much that when I got pregnant with Princess I switched doctors right away. I can't say enough good things about this doctor, she is super good at what she does, but she also treats you like a human and listens to you, it's an amazing concept, and a combination that I had not found in any other ob. At my very last visit a week ago, she came in and gave me a giant hug, and told me that I was looking awesome. Love that lady!

This next pic was taken in the recovery room. Princess was less than an hour old, and still kind of swollen and puffy. And stinkin' adorable!

The next are just some random pics from our time in the hospital. I love to see my sweetheart love on his girls!

Sweetheart commandeered my bed one day, and I was so sick of being in it that I didn't mind. I think we confused a few nurses momentarily when they came in and saw her in the bed and me off on one of the chairs.

Here is Sweetheart starting to get a little bit more used to her sister. Still not too sure about it, though!

When I say that she commandeered my bed, I mean she really set up shop!

Thank goodness for extra crayons in the diaper bag, hospital rooms are boring for almost 3-year-olds!

This next one is Marquis trying to get Sweetheart to warm up to her sister, but she really wasn't liking it. I'm so glad she got over that fairly quickly!

This next one is Princess's going home outfit. I love this little dress! This was the last picture just before we finally got to go home.
