Grandpa Happy (aka Grandpa Pappy) gave us a pumpkin this year just for Sweetheart to carve. She was not too sure at first about putting her hands in the slimy pumpkin guts, but soon got into and had a great time. We did have to wash her hands about five times throughout the process, though.
Princess supervised the whole operation, and was quite focal with her suggestions.
Isn't this a cute smile? I think she had a great time, despite the sliminess!
And somehow I missed getting a picture of the finished project. It was pretty basic, though, triangle nose, kind of pointy cat eyes, jagged smile, you get the picture. Sweetheart thought we had made the best puzzle ever and kept putting the pieces back in the eye/nose holes. Funny kid!
