Things I never thought I'd say...

In becoming a parent, I have noticed that I say a lot of things that it never would have occurred to me that I would ever say. I always thought it would be obvious that crackers don't need band-aids, or that you shouldn't lick the baby. The things that go on in this girl's mind surprise me every day. Like my most recent one, "Sweetheart, paint is for paper, not for faces."

Not sure why she decided she needed a purple watercolor mustache, but at least I think I've convinced her to stop eating the stuff!
