It always makes me laugh when someone falls asleep in weird positions or when they don't mean to, so I just have to take a picture so I can laugh at them forever. This first one was one of the days before Christmas when we didn't have too much going on. I put Sweetheart down for a nap right after lunch, and then when she still hadn't fallen asleep by 3 p.m. I decided that a nap just wasn't in the cards that day and I let her get up. A few hours later, she and CG were cuddling while CG read books, when I noticed that Sweetheart was long, long gone.
We had a very family-filled Christmas this year. Marquis has a sister who lives in Missouri with her kids and a brother that lives in Ohio with his wife and kids. Everyone (except my nephew who is on a mission) was able to come out and spend Christmas together, it was so fun! The first night my two nieces, one from Ohio and one from Missouri, spent the night at our house. Doesn't my niece look so cute crashed out on the couch? They were watching a movie and she just couldn't make it through.
This next one is actually a pretty common sight, Poppa and Princess both value their sleep very highly!
One day the cousins went sledding in the morning, and then came back to watch a movie. They were cuddling on the couch getting warm under a blanket. I could see that Sweetheart was fading fast and went to see if I could find some lunch for her before she fell asleep, but I wasn't quick enough! A morning of sledding was just too much excitement for her and she fell asleep hard and fast!
Uncle Paul also got to have some quality time with Princess.
