Sweetheart was watching Sleeping Beauty, and there is a part where the good fairies are talking about how they can't go to the evil fairy's castle, and one says, "We can, and we must!" Right then Sweetheart turned to Princess, who was lying on the floor playing, and said with the most serious face, "Princess, we must! We must!" while pounding her little fist into hand.
"Look Mommy, I have a sword in my pocket! I'm going to fight... to fight... um.. some spiders!!" Good place to start, Sweetheart.
I had been eating something, got a little choked up and started to cough. Marquis, just to be funny, was patting my back. Sweetheart, looking confused, said, "Daddy, are you burping Mommy?"
As I've mentioned about a hundred times, her fingers are her favorite toys. They go on many adventures together and spend most of the day deep in conversation. One day not long after I had laid her down for her nap, she started crying the really scary cry. The moms out there know what I mean, some cries are different, and this one was serious, so I went running into her room to see what was wrong. When I asked her what happened, she held up her hand with her index finger all bent over and cried, "Finger is dead, finger is dead!!!" She was hysterically crying until her other finger was able to help revive the "dead" one.
