Marquis has been trying to talk sweetheart into going for a ride on the motorcycle for a long time, but she has always gotten nervous and said no. So it surprised us both when he was teasing her one day and asked if she wanted a ride, and not only did she say yes, but she ran to the closet to get her helmet and her (fake) leather jacket, "Just like daddy's!"
She wasn't nervous at all, and wore that grin the whole time.
I am in big, big trouble.
This is the sad "Why do I have to get off?" face. Marquis actually did have somewhere real to go, and Sweetheart watched him leave out the window with sad tears running down her face, and then put her head in her hands as soon as he was out of sight and sobbed. After a long and much needed nap, Marquis took her on another little ride and she loved it just as much. They even went on a daddy-daughter date on it a few days ago. I'm still not sure how I feel about this new development, except that she is so unbelievably cute about it. Plus it takes the sexy man on a motorcycle thing and combines it with the sexy man being super cute with his daughter thing, which makes it so I just can't seem to say no. Shh, don't tell Marquis!
