Our zoo has added some animatronic dinosaurs this summer, and Grammy and Poppa took us to check them out.
First stop was at the wooden horses for a photo op. Poppa taught the girls the right way to hold the reigns.
Sweetheart didn't really like the dinosaurs, they were big, scary, noisy, and had "sharp tooths!" There were even some that would spit water at you. She really was not a fan.
Princess, though, didn't seem to mind too much, even when I fed her to a T-rex.

We went to the bird show, which was fun, except that we got there late enough that the only seats were in the sun. It didn't take long for my sweet Princess to get way too hot, so we left during a moment when nothing was swooping overhead. She felt a lot better after I had ditched her pants, dumped a bunch of water on her head, and we fed her some snowcone. 
She just couldn't handle any more excitement, though, and crashed out.
