Silly String Misadventures

CG is here! Hooray for Thanksgiving, not just because of the yummy food and time off of work, but because it brings her home to us. It's so wonderful to have all our girls under one roof! So far we have seen a whole bunch of family, watched Sweetheart in the Primary Program at church and yesterday we had a fun time shopping, checking out the elves and having lunch at Gardner Village. (Forgot my camera, urgh!!)

I think that every man is actually in fact just a 10-year-old boy in a larger body, and mine is no exception. Which is why when he saw a couple of cans of Silly String in the Halloween clearance at the grocery store, he could not resist bringing them home. (Also, because he is an amazing dad who is becoming used to being surrounded by girls and all things girly, he grabbed the $0.30 can of glitter hairspray, which Sweetheart thinks is absolutely amazing and she needs to wear every day.)

Marquis tried to ease Sweetheart into her first Silly String experience slowly, first by covering one of our chairs before sending a string her way. 

She was less than impressed, so Marquis decided to show her how fun it was by getting CG.

And me.

And then by having CG help Sweetheart get him.

I think really she just didn't like the mess that was being made all over the room, she seemed to be trying very hard to get it cleaned up as fast as she could. 

She was even not impressed with Marquis's Spiderman impression.

Princess woke up from her nap in the middle of the madness (hooray for cute baby bed head!) and was confused, but it seemed like it might be fun, whatever was going on.

Eventually Sweetheart lightened up and got into the fun, right about the time we ran out. Then she had a great time helping to clean it all up. 

All that fun, for just $0.60? In the words of Sweetheart, "Score!!!"
