For my first SunButter "baking" experience, I decided to not actually bake and instead make this super fast and easy recipe I found on Pinterest. We slapped these babies together in about 5 minutes, and although you are supposed to chill them for a half hour, we just dug in and ate them right away anyway. They turned out so yummy!
While I adore real chocolate like a nice dark Amano or Valrhona, when I couldn't get something fancy I used to eat Reese's peanut butter cups all the time. They were actually my drug of choice during that one week each month when ladies just might have a harder time being nice to those around them. But I haven't had a peanut butter cup since August 26, 2010 (yes, I do know the exact date), and every once in a while I really miss them! These babies brought me right back and reminded me so much of my beloved peanut butter cups.
Princess dove right in, stuffing her cute little face with the yumminess.
Sweetheart, on the other hand, carefully ate hers with a spoon, savoring each bite.
Yum! The recipe is here on the site Smashed Peas and Carrots, and the only change I made was to substitute the SunButter for the peanut butter. Enjoy!
(As a note, SunButter has not given me anything to blab about them incessantly. We just love them lots.)
