CG is here!!! Her summer vacation is split into three parts this time, so she is here for a week now, two weeks in the middle of June, and another two weeks in July. Hooray! In true, random, Emily-style, the rest of this post is about something completely different.
When I go grocery shopping with just me and the little girls, one way I've found to entertain the tiny one is to hand her the list and my pen and let her color on it while I shop. This can keep her happy and prevent most of the screaming for almost an hour sometimes. Last week she was so happy that when I put her in the car I just let her keep the paper and pen, thinking that might make for a scream-free car ride home. And it worked, she was really quiet. Too quiet,
as she happily tattooed her little legs.
The girls like to do art projects while I work, usually with just crayons or Play-Doh, and sometimes even watercolor paints. One day I received permission to let them try CG's glitter pens. I handed them over with some paper and then got involved with my work, glancing over just a few seconds later to see this.
Thankfully I thought to take Princess's dress off first, bellies are easier to clean than clothes!
This girl sure keeps me on my toes!
