Jalapeno Fudge and Other Serious Business

Each summer, CG and her Utah BFF have to make at least one trip to Gardner Village, which is a collection of fun little shops. This year they let me and the littles tag along.

They also let me dress them up like princesses and take their picture. And look, CG even smiled! Such lovely ladies.

(After taking all these pics in this cute little shop, I noticed a sign on the wall that said no picture taking was allowed in the store. Whoops!)

They always buy something matching as a symbol of their BFF-dom, and this year they got a couple of really cute bracelets. But the highlight of the trip is always the candy store, and the fresh fudge that awaits. There is usually a little deliberation and oooing and aaahing about the assortment of flavors, but it always turns out the same, CG gets amaretto, UT BFF gets mint, and I get a little bit of jalapeno. That's right, chocolate fudge with some jalapeno thrown in. Because I'm spicy like that.

Jalapeno?!?? I've never noticed that as an offering!

Quite often they don't have it out, but they usually have some back behind the counter. I always ask about it if I don't see it out and have always been able to get some. Very yum!
