In the meantime, here is the latest episode. Enjoy!
I usually wake up WAAYYYY too early so I can get in my exercise before the girls are awake, but one morning they decided to crash my party. They sat on the couch being my cheerleaders while I finished up. When I got to the end of my DVD and it went back to the menu screen, Sweetheart jumped up and yelled, "You got high score! Woohoo!" What can I say, when I work out I do it right!
One morning while I was getting ready in the bathroom, the girls were in my bedroom playing with my jewelry box. Sweetheart was showing Princess a butterfly necklace, and I heard her say, "This butterfly is for you. It is your destiny! This butterfly will always keep you safe from the things in the world that make you sick. Like dragons. And bouncy houses." You have to watch out for those bouncy houses!
One night Marquis and I were hanging in the family room while the girls were playing in the toy room. Sweetheart ran out saying, "She's pooped! She's pooped!" When most parents hear the poop word, their ears perk up a little bit more than normal, so I of course asked, "Wait, what?" To which Sweetheart responded, "She's pooped! She has finally been pooped out!" "Hold on, what? Where is there poop?" "No mom, Princess! The dragon ate her and he finally pooped her back out again!" Great, now I have to clean up dragon poop, too!
We went to pick Sweetheart up from her church class and she was showing us the pictures that she drew. One picture had to do with the lesson they had that day. The other picture, the one she was so super excited to show us, was a picture of a mommy zombie and a baby zombie. Maybe we need to have a discussion about how zombies may not be exactly church appropriate.
Ok, now it's Princess's turn. One morning she woke up with amazingly wild bedhead. It was so bad that when Sweetheart first saw Princess, she immediately asked me to please do something about Princess's hair. Princess had another point of view. She caught sight of herself in a mirror and gasped in amazement and said, "Mommy, look! My hair looks like a flower!"
One night in the middle of dinner, Princess said, "Oh no! What's happening!" She then started to pull her arms into her sleeves, and in a monotone voice she said, "I'm turning into a zombie, I am a zombie!" What is it with my girls and zombies?
