Some birthdays are bigger than others. Turning five means kindergarten, eight means baptism (in our church, anyway), and sixteen means driving. But of all the big birthdays out there, turning eighteen pretty much takes the cake. It's hard to believe our beautiful CG is stepping over the line into being an adult, that just went so fast! It seems like just yesterday she was a teeny baby:
Actually, I wasn't there for that part, but I've heard all the stories and have seen lots of pictures, and I can tell you for certain that she was a beautiful, very well loved little baby.
And then that beautiful, very well loved baby grew into a beautiful, very well loved little girl, which is when I was lucky enough to have her come into my life.
And now she has arrived and is a beautiful, very well loved young woman.
CG, from the moment I saw you I thought you were the most adorable, perfect little girl, and I think it's safe to say I loved you instantly. Part of why I fell in love with your dad is because I saw how much he loved you. I have loved watching you grow up, and I love every moment that we get to be with you. I love watching you play with your sisters and love on them. We are so incredibly proud of the person that you are becoming!
Wow, how many times can I use the word love in one blog post? Apparently a lot!
