Random thing #1: Each time we go to the eye doctor's office, we have to transform the girlies into the most adorable little geeks around. 

We start training the geekiness young around these parts!

Random thing #2: Have I mentioned the girls' recent obsession with Jake and the Neverland Pirates? I can sing you every single song from every episode. These songs haunt my nightmares and follow me around day in and day out, a never ending round of song after song after song...Jake and the Neverland Pirates... and meee!!!!

Anyway, it might be driving their mom a little crazy, but my little pirates sure look cute and ready to go on an adventure with their mateys!

I think Sweetheart's missing tooth and the fact she is stuffing her latest victim's head in a sack make her pirate costume much more authentic, don't you?

Random thing #3: Sometimes I get a little carried away in my cooking. Notice my right eyebrow. 

Random thing #4: Princess calls herself my "little rock girl." I find rocks in her pockets, in my pockets, on the porch, and in her bed. I have yet to find a rock in the fridge, but you can bet that someday it will happen, and when it does I won't be even the teeniest bit surprised. But her favorite rocks live between our house and Sweetheart's afternoon bus stop. They are two gigantic rocks in someone's yard, and most days we have to stop and say hi to them.
