For Christmas this past year, Marquis's parents must have agreed with our philosophy of giving experiences instead of presents, because they got us a family pass to the aquarium! Between the aquarium being remodeled and us being way too busy, we didn't make it there until May, but it was the perfect Grand Adventure!
We first started by checking out the seahorses, and narrowly missed an awkward conversation about reproductive organs, since male seahorses are the ones who give birth. I know I'll have to have that conversation some day, but I got to procrastinate it just a little bit longer, phew!
The new shark tank was pretty amazing, we stayed there for quite awhile.
Hey, wait a minute, what is that?
You mean there are actual sharks in this shark tank?
At about this point the girls decided it was time to move on to less dangerous areas of the aquarium. Like to the otters!
And the penguins. Can you walk like a penguin, too?
Awesome adventure! We had a great time and plan to go back soon!
