It's a very sad day

This is a little girl asking, "Where's CG?" She has had so much fun the past two weeks playing with her big sister. Today is hard for all of us, because currently CG is in a car somewhere between here and California. If they make good time they should be there late tonight.

Yesterday night as we were gathering CG's Christmas haul and trying to fit it into the luggage she brought, we realized, as we do every year, that there is no way it would all fit. So, like usual, we got a box from the garage. But before she could load it up, she and Sweetheart had to play with it for about an hour. It was a tunnel for awhile, and then Sweetheart was put inside and they played peekaboo for awhile. Even Marquis got in on the fun, he went through the tunnel too. Watching them play it struck me how blessed I am. Even if we only see CG a few times a year, we are so grateful for every minute.
