California - Part 4 Just Hanging Out

Marquis and I are real homebodies. We just love to be home, cooking and playing games and just being together. Sweetheart has some of that, too, every once in awhile she will just stop playing and say, "Home!" Cute kid. Since our main reason in going to California was to see CG and not necessarily to do any sightseeing, we decided to take advantage of the homey atmosphere of our hotel room and stay in. It was so nice to just hang out and have family time.

Marquis and CG made us a very yummy dinner, especially considering the only seasonings they had were salt and pepper and a little butter swiped from the restaurant the night before.

Sweetheart "helped" too, making sure that CG had her shoes on in case she wanted them.

I think Sweetheart really just didn't want CG out of her sight, she followed her around everywhere. CG didn't seem to mind too much, she never wanted to put Sweetheart down. I love this next picture because they just look so very happy to be together!

I thought it was cute that anywhere we went, they both were reading in the car.
