California - Part 5, Swimming

Our last morning in California we decided to check out the hotel pool. It wasn't the warmest day, so Sweetheart and I stayed in the pool just a few minutes before the poor little tyke was shivering like crazy. She and I went back to the room and changed, and then brought the camera back with us, but my two turkeys were not too keen on having their pictures taken. They thought they were pretty clever at avoiding me, but I won in the end.

I love that smile!

Poor Sweetheart still wanted to play, so she found other ways to interact with Daddy and CG. They threw beach balls back and forth for awhile...


...and then CG gave Marquis a good workout. He tossed her off his shoulders so many times!

He took Sweetheart for a little swim, despite the fact that she was still dressed.

Sweetheart and played with CG over the side for a little while.

Pretty soon she had her pants off and was splashing with her toes in the water. She had so much fun that she talked about that for a couple of days, every once in awhile she would just say, "Toes! Splash!" Silly girl.

That is the end of our California pictures. We took so many for just a weekend trip, but somehow it is never enough. Thankfully CG will be here soon for a whole month. We can't wait! It is always so hard to say goodbye, but it is easier when we know we get to see her again so soon.
