The Zoo part one

Quite a few of the activities we have done lately we have ended up doing twice. We just seem to have lots of people wanting to go to the same places, and since the places are fun we keep going back! One of these first places was the zoo. We went there first with a bunch of the cousins and had a really fun time.



Sweetheart wasn't too sure about the carousel at first, but it didn't take her long to catch on and love it.

But CG wasn't scared at all.

We went to see the bird show, and during the show one of the hawks flew right over our heads. I was hold Sweetheart with her standing on my lap, and the hawk's wing touched the top of her head. For the next couple of days Sweetheart would occasionally say, "Bird, head!" and grab her head. Too cute! She also liked giving the dollar to this bird.

This is how enthralled Sweetheart was at the elephant show, she loved it! It was pretty interesting to watch, and exciting to know that the elephant we watched was pregnant and due very soon.
