Trunk or Treat

This is the first year that Sweetheart is old enough to really have fun with Halloween, and so the first year that we actually got her a costume. I am pretty proud of this little cloak, I made it without a pattern and without a sewing machine. We tested it out at the ward truck or treat and it seemed to be a success. Here is our Little Red Riding Hood hanging with Grammy.

They had a yummy dinner and some fun games for the kids. Sweetheart couldn't really figure out what was going on, but people kept giving her pencils and toys and candy, so whatever it was was great!

They gave her a paper bag to keep her treasures in and she didn't want to let it go the rest of the night.

After the games we went outside for the actual trunk or treat. It didn't take her long to catch on that if she said "Trick or Treat," people would put candy in her basket. Jackpot!
