This handsome young man dancing next to my Sweetheart is the son of my good friend. He also may or may not be betrothed to Sweetheart. Shhhh, don't tell them. We are letting love blossom on it's own, they don't yet know that they have no choice.

They will have the prettiest little blue-eyed babies!
Seriously, though, a bunch of my friends and I went to the Church History Museum downtown to spend some time in the fun kid's section. They have so many fun things to do, and the kids (at least mine) were worn out quite sufficiently.
They have an area where you put on Mexican dance costumes, and follow the people on the screen. The kids were so cute during this!
Sweetheart's interpretation of the dance was more of a stand there and look nervous approach, but hey, she rocked that outfit!
While Sweetheart stood there, Princess discovered her identical twin and danced with her for awhile. It doesn't take much to get this girl to dance, I sense some ballet lessons in our future.
There was a boat where the kids could do some fishing.

Sweetheart thought it was fun, but Princess took a more efficient approach and jumped right in the water with those fish, catching them by hand.

We teach wilderness survival skills early in our family.
She also tasted all the kitchen items in the little kitchen they had there and just loved it. And I just tried not to think about how many other little kids had sampled those same toys before her because she was having such a grand time. I want you to notice her shirt. Do you see how it looks just a little bit big and baggy on her?
This was a weird day for me. Sweetheart has this same shirt, but in a bigger size (of course). When I went to get the girls dressed that morning, I found Princess's in her drawer, but I couldn't find Sweetheart's, so I dressed her in another shirt. As I was taking these pics of Princess I was thinking that I remembered buying hers a little big, but that this seemed more baggy than I remembered. It wasn't until I took off her shirt for jammies that night that I noticed it was a 3T! Whoops. The day was also strange for me with some mix-ups with the Trax train, and it was also the night that I served my family bricks and gravy for dinner, which Sweetheart gave her review about in this post. It was not one of my finer days, but at least it was all funny stuff. Anyway, back to the museum. Sweetheart loved the kitchen, too, and made several gourmet and exotic things for dinner. And Princess showed me just how big her tongue is.
As for our lovebirds, they have already had a followup lunch, although with one other lovely lady in attendance Sweetheart might need to start stepping up her game. She has about 20 years before the wedding, though, so we have plenty of time for plotting.

LOL I saw the title to this in my blog roll, and got huffy. WHO else is she dating? Much relieved to see my son's face. It cracks me up, they are so cute together! He talks about Leannan ALL the time. :)
