We had a family reunion at a park that has a really fun splash pad. I was so excited to take the girls there, but first the girls had to do a little horsing around in the trees with my sister.
And then on to the splash pad! That's my Sweetheart in the front, almost daring to touch that spray of water. 
They had a little area that was like a shallow river with big rocks that was so much fun. We spent most of our time there.
This is me realizing that I was probably going to get more wet than anticipated, and so I was bringing my phone to Marquis for him to protect. 
There was a little slip and a scrape that was sad for a moment, and being the good mom I am, I look pictures of her cute, sad little face before kissing it better and sending her back on her way. 
These two dark haired girls are my beautiful nieces. They didn't really anticipate getting wet, either, but it was too fun to stay out of the water!
