A Be-Witching Day

Every year around Halloween, the ladies in my family get together and hit Gardner Village to see all their witches and get in some shopping. Normally kids and husbands are not invited, but I thought they would have fun so we took them a little early, and then they left once more of the big girls got there. Sweetheart and Princess had a blast! I'm so glad we took them early, and none of the big girls seemed to mind when they stayed a little into big girl time.

I have one sister that just moved to Missouri, and we really missed her. She looks a bit like this witch here, something about the green skin and large nose (just kidding Lacey!), so we decided to have a group pic. That piece of paper my sister-in-law is holding in front of the witch is an old grocery list from my purse that we wrote "Lacey" on in a sharpie, you just can't tell because it was right in the sun. Oops!

Even my sweet grandma comes every year. She was so funny because as we were shopping she kept trying to find a purse that had enough "bling."  We never found one that was just right, but I loved to hear my grandma saying bling, it still cracks me up.

Can't wait for next year, ladies!
