Have I mentioned before that Marquis's parents have zoo passes? Well they do, and every Halloween there is an activity called Boo at the Zoo where lots of local business set up tables at the zoo and give out candy..
But first, I did a whole big post on Sweetheart's costume and yet I still haven't said a word about Princess's. I think when you have a red-headed baby, it's pretty much a requirement that she dress as Pebbles Flinstone. It's just one of those unwritten rules.
I didn't spend much time on this costume, she just has a piece of animal print fleece wrapped around her and a bone glued to a barrette with a hot glue gun. The hardest part was finding that bone. You'd think there would be plenty of plastic bones around at Halloween time, but you'd be wrong. That bone there was found at the pet store, and is a dental bone chew toy for a dog. Marquis found it. Smart guy, huh?
After all the work I put into Sweetheart's Rapunzel hair, she was just to cold and grumpy to want to put it on. We sure tried!
The carousel was a gigantic hit.
Princess especially loved it, I don't think I've heard her laugh that hard!
Thanks Grammy and Poppa for such a fun day!
This is my last Halloween post because for some reason I just didn't pull out the camera on the actual day, whoops! It was a very fun day, though, with happy, candy-filled kids.
