We just recently watched a show on Hulu called Food Network Challenge Outrageous Pumpkins 2. It was absolutely amazing to see what these people could do with pumpkin. The guy who won the competition's final pumpkin looked like Medusa's head, with two of the snake "hair" heads moving around. She had flashing red eyes and smoke coming out of her nose and mouth. At our house, it's kind of like that. Except for fewer strobe lights and motors, and more like me trying to teach the girls that slimy pumpkin guts between the fingers really is an awesome feeling.
Do you see Sweetheart's face in this next one? She is still not convinced, I need to work a little harder on that one, but Princess was way on board.
She even thought it was pretty tasty.
I don't think our pumpkins will end up winning any contests, but the girls had a great time, and that's all I really care about anyway!
