Strange Things Afoot

Sometimes I just need to stop and laugh at the strangeness that fills this house. For example, not long after we put up our Christmas decorations, I found this in the toy cupboard:

I see one of two things here. Either this lemur is giving these little Santas a hug, welcoming them to our home, or he has captured them and is planning on a yummy Christmas dinner. By the look of the lemur's crazy eyes and the way the Santa on the left looks like he is waving for help, I'm going with the latter.

Another, completely unrelated strange thing, here is a conversation between my little girls during breakfast a few mornings ago:

Princess: Doh! Doh! Doh!

Sweetheart: Stop it, I'm not Doh!

Princess: Doh! Doh!

Sweeheart: Stop, Princess stop, I'm not Doh! I'm not!

Princess: Doh! Doh! Doh!

Sweetheart: (Now starting to cry) But Princess, I'm Sweetheart, I'm not Doh! Please stop!

Princess: Doh! Doh!

Sweetheart: (Sobbing!) But I'm Sweetheart! I'm Sweetheart!!
