Amazing Discovery #1:
I have talked about the wonders of sunflower seed butter before, but did you know you can buy it by the tub? You don't realize how convenient, yummy and cheap it is to slap together a good ol' PB&J until that option is removed from you. But this stuff? I've brought it to play dates to share with all the other kids, and I don't think any of them ever noticed it's not peanut butter. The taste is a teeny bit different than peanut butter, but close enough that you can substitute it in most recipes. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this stuff! This brand is the one I go for because some sunflower seed butters are ground on the same equipment that they use to grind nut butters, even peanut butter, but this brand is very allergy friendly. And now I can buy it by the tub!! Yes, I excite easily, but hooray for SunButter!
Amazing discovery #2:
Remember how just last week I was whining about my body issues? About how I just wasn't happy with what I was seeing in the mirror? Well, it turns out that my super high quality $5 full length mirror from Walmart is curved. It is curved just enough to made me look wider, but not quite enough to make it obvious that the mirror is distorted. I've been working my butt off trying to improve what I see in the mirror and getting so frustrated that I still looked so wide, and it was all because I have a funhouse mirror in my bathroom! I have to admit I'm still laughing at myself a bit for not realizing this before, but I'm also super excited that I actually look skinnier than I thought. And I'm also shopping around for a new full length mirror.
