Hey guys, Princess here. I've hijacked Mom's blog again to tell you about the greatest day ever since the beginning of time.
But before I get to that, I first have to tell you about the pumpkins. You see, Mom and Dad started telling me about this whole Halloween thing and they seemed really excited, but I wasn't so sure. Dressing up in weird clothes and begging people for candy? Seems kind of fishy to me, but if I could end up with candy, then I guess I could try it.
But then they pulled a trick on me. "Let' carve pumpkins!" they said. "It'll be so fun!" they said.
What they forgot to mention is that these pumpkins are full of slimy yuckiness that they expected me to help clean out. You want me to touch what?
Yeah, I don't think so! My crazy sister jumped right in and didn't seem to mind, but I stayed as far from that yuck as I could. Gross!
Then it looked like it was going to get fun, right before they tricked me again. Guys, they got out knives! And they started cutting those pumpkins up into faces and it was super exciting! My sister got a pumpkin that looks like Spiderman, because wow does that girl love Spiderman.

But here's how they tricked me, whenever I tried to grab one of those knives to have a little fun of my own, they wouldn't even let me near one! I see how it goes, they want me to do the messy work, but they hog all the fun stuff! Totally not fair!
In the end, my grandpa helped me carve this little beauty:

A couple of days later my sister dressed up like Spidergirl to go to her preschool Halloween party. Remember how I said she's obsessed with Spiderman?
Yep, pretty much. I have to admit, though, she looks pretty cute throwing her webs around like that.
The next night we went to my uncle's house to hang with my cousins. Before we left, Mom put me in this weird cheerleading outfit and told me again about the begging for candy thing, but after their lies about the fun of pumpkin carving, I wasn't too sure this would be great.
We all gathered on the front porch for a few pictures before heading off.
We are an adorable group, aren't we?
And then the best thing ever happened. Everywhere we went, we would knock on the door and people gave us candy! And not a little bit, like a lot! They smiled and were happy and just kept giving more candy. I started out not so sure about this whole thing, but by the end I was running from house to house and shouting "Trick-or-treat!" as loudly as I could, and soon my bucket was full. And my mom let me eat it, like a lot! It was basically just the best day ever!
Of course, how could you not want to smile and give candy to someone this adorable?
Why yes, I am pretty irresistible, if I do say so myself.
And my mom thinks so, too.
