CG is Going to Nationals, and a Birthday Post

It's CG's birthday! CG is awesome. I don't say that on here near enough, but it's the truth. 

You hear that CG? I know we tell you this in person quite often, but now it's published all over the interwebs, you are an awesome, amazing, beautiful, wonderful, perfect person!

One thing that CG is passionate about, and incredibly good at, is hanging out with horses. She loves them, they love her back, and she has become very good at riding them. 

CG, we couldn't be more proud of you and the person that you are becoming! Have I mentioned that you are amazing?

We also can't believe that you have somehow gotten so stinkin' old, so we have decided, no more birthdays for you, m'kay? You get to stop here. You hear me? STOP IT!!!!

Alright, now that we've gotten that cleared up, I have a story. Last weekend was the Finals competition. This was a big one, because it determined who gets to go to Nationals in New York. You know how every sports movie out there has pretty much the same plot, the team is behind, in dead last place and it looks just awful like they have no chance of winning, but somehow in the end they pull it all together, the team is amazing and tada, they end up winning and get to go to Nationals?

Well, that's exactly what Finals was like, she got to live that movie plot for real! We were able to talk to her in the moments right after the big win, and it was pretty obvious how incredibly excited/relieved/happy/overjoyed she was. Well done CG, well done team and hooray for the perfect movie ending!
