(Why yes, I am aware that Januaryness is not a word. And your point is?)
We've been around our two littlest girls long enough now that we have figured out a few things. One thing that we have noticed is that Sweetheart looks much more like Marquis than she does like me, yet she acts much more like me. Princess is backwards, she looks a lot more like me, but on the inside she is so completely her daddy's girl. One similarity that they share is their absolute love for all things sugar.
Princess has her own inner radar. If there is candy anywhere in the house, she is aware of it, and she is asking for it. Her ears are finely tuned and they can hear the wrinkle of a candy wrapper all the way from downstairs, even if you are opening it as quietly as possible all the way upstairs. I have my chocolate well hidden, but I have even caught her dragging a chair over to the freezer, where she somehow knows my emergency stash of chocolate chips is hidden.
Sweetheart is the best big sister ever. She loves to help out and will do pretty much anything I ask her to. She has started getting both herself and Princess dressed in the mornings, with sometimes hilarious results. I need to get some pictures to show you soon, because it gets interesting some days!
Sometimes Princess feels a little (a lot) smothered with all of the helping, but all in all she loves the attention. I love it when they are sweet to each other!
