Monthly Grand Adventure for May - Part 2

First things first, this post is about day two, but day one already had tons of videos, so I saved this gem for today, I love this one!

We have been camping with Princess a couple of times in the past, and it usually involves an entire night of screaming from her. I was totally expecting zero sleep, but Princess was kind to us and dropped of very quickly, sleeping through the entire night, hooray! 

Sometime in the night we went from Marquis and I sleeping in the middle with Princess beside Marquis and Sweetheart beside me to the girls being between us, but if that is the only nighttime disturbance, I'll take it!

After we got up and going and we wandered around the basin, and Marquis put Princess in this little cave. Don't worry, that shadow at the bottom right is Marquis, all ready to catch and knowing full well that if he didn't he'd be sleeping in the dog house.

While I'm not a fan of the red dirt and the heat, I must admit that that part of Utah can sure have it's pretty moments.

On the way home we were delighted to find that even in the middle of a teeny town in rural Utah there is an old time ice cream shop that has allergy friendly ice cream. Sweetheart was very happy about this. Princess had crashed out so she just slept. 

It did make Princess's day, though, when we pulled over after she woke up and pulled her ice cream from the cooler, and it hadn't even melted very much.

Before we knew it we were home and showered and had all the camping stuff put away. Everyone had a fantastic time, and I would definitely rule Grand Adventure #3 a smashing success!
