Winding Down the School Year - the Last Day of Preschool

Back in October, this was my gigantic girl on her first day of preschool.

And this is my gigantic girl on her last day of preschool.

For the last day of preschool they went to the big park across the street for a picnic lunch. After the lunch, a local firefighter came back and talked to us about fire safety and showed us his truck. The kids even got to climb through the inside of the truck and check it out. 

Then we spent the rest of the time playing on the playground,  

and playing with the gigantic parachute the preschool teachers brought. Sweetheart is the one in the red.

Because it was the last day, Princess and I (and all the other parents) were invited to the picnic and playing in the park, and Princess was having a grand time. She has wanted to go to school with Sweetheart for a long time so this was a dream come true for her!

I can't believe that preschool is already over!
