Seven years ago... Another Birthday Post

Oh, my darling Sweetheart. Can it really already be seven years since you entered our lives? 

That day was very, very long, and more than a little scary at times, but it was still one of the very best days of my life. 

From the moment you were born you have been so very loved, by so many people! 

 And who can blame them? You are just so adorable,

 I have loved every moment I've been able to spend with you.

We have had so many fun adventures already!

I can't wait to see how you grow up, to watch you learn and grow. It's already obvious what an amazing young lady you are!

This past year has been so fun, because suddenly you are learning so much! You are quickly becoming a little reader, and so many of the things you used to need help with you are now doing all on your own.

My silly 7-year-old

Sweetheart, we waited and hoped and prayed for seven years for a sweet miracle baby to join our family. We are now at the strange place where you have been with us for as long as we waited for you. How could those first seven years drag by so slowly, and the next seven years speed by so very fast? But I would go through it again a hundred times over to be able to have you here with us. We are so blessed to have you!
