Info on our Grand Adventures is right here.
For October, we decided to take a little visit to a local pumpkin patch. The excitement started right away with a wagon ride to get us out there.
The first thing the girls wanted to do was ride the flour sacks down the slides. In the picture below, I want you to notice Princess's complete delight, compared to Sweetheart's terrified death grip on her dad.
As soon as this ride was over, Sweetheart made herself at home in the sandbox, while Princess wore Marquis out asking to go again and again. But now on the bigger slide!
I stood guard on the girl whose temperament is so much more like mine, funny girl! She was so happy.
Princess joined us for a little while.
In this next pic, I think I captured the exact moment Princess looked up and realized there was something much more fun and fast over there!
Since it's Marquis's fault he spawned another adrenaline junkie, I sent him out on the bike thingies with her, while I stood guard over the sandbox some more.
I asked Sweetheart several times if she wanted to go ride too, and each time she just said, "Nope!" And kept playing. Princess got bored with it and dragged Marquis back to the slides, and I turned from watching them to find to my surprise that Sweetheart had jumped on!
She took one lazy lap around the track, and then went right back to digging in the sandbox.
Princess, in the meantime, was still going down the biggest slide, but this time all by herself!
The apple guns were lots of fun, but my family are bad shots!
Oh, and there were pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, too!
