All of December 2014

And yet another giant catch up post. We once again didn't have a specific Grand Adventure for the month, we just called all the fun at Christmas our Grand Adventure for the month.

Another of Princess's culinary creations.

That super blurry kid on the front row in the green shirt? Yeah, she's mine, singing her cute little heart out in her school's Christmas program.

Around Christmastime we got a dog! Isn't he a cutie?

Actually we were just dog-sitting, so we gave him back a few days later. The girls sure loved having him, though!

Every superhero wears their underwear on the outside, right?

Santa likes LOTS and LOTS of sprinkles on his cookies, just ask Princess!

Apparently he liked the cookies, because he came and left a huge stash. Awesome!

(Side note: CG is off at college, and so it is debateable whether the name "California Girl," CG for short, still fits. Because of that, I'm giving her a secret blog name change, and she will hereafter be known as "College Girl." To make it easier, we are going to use the initials CG for short. I hope you can all adjust to the change.)

I mustache you a question...

Christmas Day snowed really hard, and the girls got really sick with an icky stomach flu on Christmas Eve, so we spent Christmas Day hanging out at home instead of traveling to see various family as we had originally planned. It was actually really nice to have such a low key day and just hang out together!

Later we went to visit the family we had missed, and were blessed with lots more love, and more presents.

I also had the awesome opportunity in December to have my television debut, going on the Good Things Utah show to demonstrate a recipe. I've actually been back a few times since and really love it. You can see all my appearances on my food site at www.thatswhatieat.com on the right side.

Thanks December, what a fun ride!
