All of November 2014

This post is for the entire month of November, in part of my desperate attempt to catch up. We didn't do an official Grand Adventure for November, we decided that the excitement of Thanksgiving and all our other busyness was enough.

I found it very humorous that the first snow of the year and the first seed catalog of the year arrived on the very same day.

I often call Princess an Eskimo, because the cold just doesn't seem to affect her. I always insist on bringing a coat along when it's cold, but I usually end up just standing there holding it because, "I'm just fine, Mom, I'm fine!"

I have a couple of future food bloggers on my hands, I believe. I often find random pictures on my phone that I didn't take, and I would say about half of those involve one of my girls standing on a chair to take a picture of food.

Princess also has really gotten into creating her own recipes and culinary creations. This was a combination of fresh cheese curds and orange slices, topped with fresh apple peel. Of course she had to arrange it perfectly in a cupcake liner and make sure I took lots of pictures so I could show the people on the internet how to do it.

Somehow I only ended up with two pictures at Thanksgiving, which really makes me sad because this turned out to be the last Thanksgiving we had with my grandpa. Take pictures of your family, people, lots and lots of pictures! When they are gone, you will want more and more pictures!

Princess and Marquis made homemade ice cream as one of their daddy-daughter dates. In our very messy laundry room. It turned out yummy!

Sweetheart eats all her food with this same amount of gusto and enjoyment. We would have a much healthier world if all of us ate our kale salad like this!

Thanks November, you treated us well!
