I have a good feeling about you. We first met at 5:10 in the morning on the day you arrived, after I hit snooze exactly twice. I thankfully remembered to grab car seats from the car just seconds before Marquis left for work (when you have just one car and will be getting a ride later that day to school registration, remembering carseats is very important). As I was getting the carseats from the car, a gigantic shooting star shot across the sky, beautiful and amazing.
As soon as I went back in the house, I heard a strange noise coming from the girls' bedroom. I snuck in quietly and realized that the sound was Princess, giggling away in her sleep. I was already smiling from the awesomeness of that shooting star, but the smile got bigger when I heard those sweet giggles.
A few hours later Sweetheart woke up and came to find me for her morning hug. As we cuddled she reminded me that she was my miracle baby. I haven't mentioned that to her in months, but she remembers, and I love so much that she knows how wonderful and special she is.

August, you are so full of promise. We have already had some very fun times, but you also have so many more things in store for us. I'm excited for the swimming and other fun activities. We also get to have another visit with CG, and we can't wait! We can't forget that school is starting at the end of the month. I can't believe Sweetheart is going to be a bona fide Kindergartner, riding the bus every day by herself and going to the great big elementary school.
