Princess Festival

This has been the strangest summer. Last year we went to the Princess Festival as our Grand Adventure for June. This summer, it seems like nearly every weekend we found ourselves doing something worth being called a Grand Adventure. We already had done our adventure for June, but my girls begged and pleaded to go back to the Princess Festival, and so off we went. 

Sweetheart wanted to be Cinderella again, and she looked lovely, of course.

Princess chose her Merida dress, which I think is so beautiful on her!

She even let me put a little bling in her hair. Despite having long hair my whole life, having two beautiful sisters with long hair, and now only having daughters, I'm somehow not very good at doing hair. Thankfully, if you put a gigantic sparkly barrette in the hair and add lots of sparkly hairspray, no one really notices that you aren't great at the actual hairstyle. 

 We met so many princesses there, including another Cinderella. Do you see her dress? This pictures doesn't do it justice, this dress was amazing! Why can't we wear beautiful dresses like this just everyday?

The girls made some beautiful crowns, and then we went to say hi to Belle.

 They loved asking all the Princesses to sign their books.

They even got to walk in the parade with some of the 12 Dancing Princesses, so fun!

Much fun was had by all, and the girls came home exhausted and happy. And our strange summer of tons of adventures continued. More to come soon!
