(We don't actually live on a ranch. You know, in case you were wondering.)
I was so very nervous about our trip to Hawaii because I was scared to leave behind our littlest girls. I really just love having them nearby where I can look at their little faces, hear their little laughs, I just like to be breathing the same air as them.
Thankfully while we were gone my wonderful sister came to make sure they were well loved and taken care of, and she did a great job holding down the fort.
(We don't actually live in a fort, either. You know, in case you were wondering.)
I am so grateful for technology! While we were gone we were able to either talk to the girls on the phone every day or see their cute little faces while we did Skype. And every once in awhile I would have pictures sent to me like these ones:
Apparently my sister is way better at doing hair than I am. And I'm just fine with that!
On the way back from snorkeling as we were passing the sea turtles, we were actually able to call them on Skype from the boat. That was pretty fun to be able to turn the phone toward the sea and let them try to see some sea turtles, too.
Even with the amazing technology we have, though, I was so happy to get back home (We do live in a regular home, actually. You know, in case you were wondering.) and smother my girlies in lots of loves and kisses!
